1. STRESS LESS- LAUGH MORE
I have to admit, I am a worrier. I stress easily and often. Looking back, I have wasted wayyy to much of my life stressing over sh*t that I can't change (control freak). But it is time to stop all that non sense and just trust God's plan and enjoy every season of life and laugh more with the ones I love!
2. DRINK MORE WATER
This is on my list every gdmf'n year y'all! And I STILL DON'T DRINK ENOUGH WATER. But here's to another year of trying.
3. CREATE CONTENT FEARLESSLY FROM MY HEART
Thisssss. Y'all, blogging can be hard. It is so easy to fall into this hole where you lose sight of your own creativity and what makes your content unique and YOURS. It's so easy to post what everyone else posts and to be afraid to post what you wan't because of other's opinions. I wish I could tell y'all that I'm so strong and bad*ss that I never struggle with this.. but that would be a lie. Sometimes I thrive and sometimes I struggle. But this year I want to work on being authentically and unapologetically ME in all that I do.
4. CALL/VISIT MY GRANDPARENTS MORE
It makes me so sad that my grandparents are getting older. They live far away so it is hard to visit them often but I want to make it a priority to make time! I call my parents like 100 times a day each and see them often, but I often forget to check on my grandparents. I love them so dearly and want to make sure I'm taking advantage of every moment with them.
5. GO ON MORE WALKS
I love a nice walk in the park with my dogs. Something about fresh air on a nice day just feels so good. Let's do this more in 2020.
6. BE CONSISTENT IN THE GYM
This is a repeat from 2019. I was very proud of my gym consistency in 2019 but I want to continue making this a priority in 2020.
7. UP WEIGHTS IN THE GYM
Due to certain injuries/ issues, I am often reluctant to up my weights in the gym. This year I want to focus on becoming stronger and gradually upping my weights.
8. PLAN MY MEALS
I do really well at meal prepping most of the time but sometimes fall off track. This year I want to focus on planning my meals more consistently with intent to fuel my body properly.
9. SPEND MORE TIME IN WORSHIP-PRAYER-CHURCH
My faith and God's plan is my #1 priority. This year I want to make sure I'm not getting distracted from that. I want to make sure that I am always making time for worship, prayer, and church.
10. PRACTICE MORE SELF LOVE
This sounds so cliche, I know. But I spent so much time in 2019 obsessing over every single flaw. Wanting to perfect my appearance. I am my toughest critic and have always been hard on myself. I believe there is nothing wrong with beauty enhancement. You want botox? filler? extensions? do it! Buttt at some point I realized I was just constantly picking myself apart and dwelling on every flaw. I don't want to live my life like that. I love myself and it is time to remember that and start acting like it.
